The performance of the new generation of cooling tanks is highly efficient. However as the size of herds and individual milk yields increase the costs of a malfunction also grow. To assist the dairy farmer in reducing this risk Fullwood has developed Oculus, a monitoring system that can be installed on new or existing bulk milk tanks. 24 hours a day Oculus monitors all the functions of the cooling system and provides an acoustic or optical alarm in the event of any malfunction, large or small Oculus provides the following information

* Milk temperature *Cooling times *Agitation *Cleaning parameters

In addition to the alarms information is provided that can be downloaded onto a floppy diskette or straight into a computer via a modem. Oculus has an internal memory which records all information for up to 80 days. This data is available to all interested parties at any time.
